Shaquan's Writing Philosophy

I have always believed that writing is one of the simplest things that one can do. This is a skill that I believe each student should possess. I believe that students learn to write based on what they see around them and sometimes even extend a bit based on their imagination. Nevertheless, writing is a skill that students need to be taught and have guidance so that they can improve their writing.

It is my role as the teacher to facilitate this process of improving writing by providing guidance and support on their writing so that they may improve.

My goal is to give my students the ability to freely express themself through writing by providing them with the necessary tools.

To achieve this, I would make writing fun by allowing students the opportunity to write on their interests, having them think critically, practice writing, and providing feedback.
